Basler announced Friday that it will be making its debut in the U.S. surveillance market next month at ASIS where the company said it plans to introduce its line of IP camera models. The German manufacturer, long known for its cameras in the industrial, medical and traffic systems markets, made its foray into the surveillance industry earlier this year at IFSEC when it introduced the line of IP cameras to the European market. Basler’s line of cameras, which are the smallest IP cameras in their class, feature multiple compression formats, including MJPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264, as well as Power over Ethernet, progressive scan, scaling and AOI functionalities, and motion detection. |
