Three Intransa video data management and systems each provide 39TB of non-stop video retention and instant playback for Boch, while a fourth provides 25TB. The Intransa retention systems can be further expanded modularly when needed, without halting recording, to meet Boch’s future requirements for increased recording capacity for additional IP cameras, extended video retention periods or support for new applications.

The fault-resilient Intransa video retention platforms deliver advanced RAID protection to eliminate the risk of lost video that plagued the original CCTV environment. Hot-swap technology further ensures non-stop recording, with unattended operation supported by email alerts. The Intransa platforms also eliminate the need for ongoing administration or scheduled downtime for maintenance.

Access to the surveillance solution’s live and recorded video as well as to system management tasks can be performed as needed from any authorized location with network access, providing increased flexibility and reduced administration for Boch.

Later this week at ISC West, attendees can see Intransa video data management and retention solutions integrated with solutions from several StorAlliance members throughout the show floor. VIDEOProtein and Veracity share the Intransa booth, 8129, which includes three hands-on demos – a Smart CCTV DVR Upgrade with a major brand DVR, a Smart All-IP Surveillance Solution integrated with Milestone Enterprise XProtect VMS, and a Smart Hybrid Solution simultaneously supporting another major brand DVR as well as VIDEOProtein 3.0 VMS.
